Message from the Librarian:

My name is Kelly Pierce. I am starting my 9th year in education and I am so excited to be your librarian! I graduated from Texas State University and have served in Texas schools as a 3rd grade teacher, 2nd grade teacher, Dyslexia teacher, and an instructional coach. Currently, my favorite things to do are learning how to be a new mom, and spending quality time with my family, friends, and pets. A fun fact about me is that I play the guitar and I write poetry.

Library Expectations:

Follow ROAR expectations.
Do not touch plush animals on the shelves.
Keep hands, feet and other objects to yourself.
During instruction, do not talk while the librarian and/or others are talking.
Food, drinks or gum are NOT allowed in the library
Walk in the library.

Scheduled Library Visits

Pre-K-Kindergarten may check out 1 book every 2 weeks

1st-2nd grade may check out 2 books every 2 weeks

3rd-5th grade may check out 3 books every 2 weeks

Library Logistics:

Library is open from 7:30-3:30 daily, with open blocks of time built into the schedule to allow for classes to schedule time to use the library space. You will come to the library every two weeks with your ELAR class.

There are no late fees, but any lost or damaged books will need to be paid for before checking out new materials.

Use Classlink to log in to Destiny to access library materials digitally, place holds for books, and write book reviews.
